2027 Open Enrollment in Texas

Compare 2027 Marketplace plans in Texas

ACA, Marketplace and Obamacare are the same plans. Look at plans and prices on your own in a couple of minutes — or let a licensed Texas agent check your tax credit, doctors and medications and narrow 40+ plans down to the two or three that fit. Either way it costs you nothing.

What to know first

Three things that change which plan is right for you.

Your price depends on income

Most people don’t pay the sticker premium. Household size and expected 2027 income decide your premium tax credit — the number to check first.

Look past the monthly price

A plan with a low premium and a high deductible can cost more by December than one with a higher premium. Roman compares the full year, not just the monthly price.

Networks change every year

Before you pick, check that your doctors, hospital and prescriptions are in the plan’s 2027 network and drug list.

Two ways to get it done

Questions people ask

When can I see 2027 prices?

On Nov 1, 2026, when Open Enrollment opens. Before then the plans you see online are still 2026 plans. You can leave your details now and Roman will send 2027 options as soon as they’re live.

What’s the deadline for coverage on January 1?

December 15, 2026. You can still enroll through January 15, 2027, but coverage then starts February 1.

Is the help really free?

Yes. There is no fee to you. If you enroll through Roman, the insurance company pays him a commission — the plan price is the same as on HealthCare.gov.

What’s the difference between ACA, Obamacare and Marketplace?

Nothing — they’re three names for the same health plans sold through HealthCare.gov. They cover pre-existing conditions and can’t charge you more for them.
